| Vintage Shure Uniron Ribbon Microphone |
A drummer had this microphone down in the bottom of his drum trap case, it was rolling around with a bunch of broken bar glasses. I saw it and fished it out, dusted it off and was looking at it when the drummer said "There is something wrong with it, I don't know, an impedance thing? You want it?"
I was in shock and said yes, he gladly gave me the mic to get it out of his case. I opened the XLR connector, resoldered all the connections and the mic works perfectly. It has a very classic thick ribbon sound and sounds wonderful for recording saxophone.
