| Amazing Fender Squire Bass, reworked with Seymour Duncan pickup and brass nut |
Mary acquired this bass back in the 1990's, it flopped around in closets for years. Finally I took it to Jacobs Custom Guitars, they installed the new Seymour Duncan Pickup set, replaced the defective volume pot and replaced the nut with a custom cut brass nut.
This bass is set up for B-E-A-D tuning so it is like playing the lower four strings on a five string bass. It has great low-end tone and plays easily now.

This bass plays better than most off-the-wall American built instruments you find in stores. The original pickup sounded terrible but the new Seymour Duncan P-bass set makes this bass sound fantastic and with the B-E-A-D tuning it has depth and bass that is very surprising for a four-string instrument.
